Coventry Multi-Faith Forum
Coventry Multi-Faith Forum is a charitable initiative representing people from major faith traditions found in and around Coventry. The Forum came into existence in 1996.
Membership of the Forum consists of individuals from Arya Samaj, Bahá’i, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Jain, Jewish, Sikh, Spiritualist, West Indian and Zoroastrian communities.
The aim of the Forum is to celebrate diversity and foster harmony between different communities by increasing knowledge and understanding of each other’s ideals. At an individual level, the Forum endeavours to encourage personal development through the promotion of higher values in our daily lives.
Their activities are wide-ranging and include participation in corporate events such as Coventry Peace Month, Positive Images Festival, Heritage Open Days and many more. We also arrange exhibitions which create greater awareness of diversity. Every year they organise a highly successful Peace Walk, which entails visits to different places of worship.
The Coventry Multi-Faith Centre has been open during the Heritage Open Days along with several other buildings in the historic centre of Coventry. This is an opportunity to discover something about other faiths and get to meet people involved in dialogue between the religious groups present in Coventry.
The Forum invites people from all backgrounds and cultures to participate in our activities by becoming a member of the forum. Membership is £3.00 per year.
They meet once a month to plan events and to discuss issues and ways to help the World to become a better place. If you would like to be involved, or even better, become a member, please email them and you will be added to their email list to keep you informed of our events, and also invited to attend their next meeting.
I would like to attend Fium meetings. Could you kindly let me know how I could, please.
Many thanks
