The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) Peace Education programme supports independent thinking and encourages debate, enabling young people to form their own opinions. We do not campaign in schools. We also offer teacher training sessions and CPD on teaching about controversial issues such as war & peace.

Free Teaching Resources

We have five education packs available free of charge (though we welcome contributions towards postage & packaging costs).

All activities are based on co-operative and active learning. We do not campaign in schools, and as such these resources explore a range of issues on all sides of the debate. All of our resources include full lesson plans and links to subjects on the curriculum as well as demonstrating how they fit to particular exam board specifications.
