  2. Good Day

I am an international student studying a master degree at Coventry University. I will be finishing my master degree in September 2019, and as I will be leaving my student accommodation at that time I have a number of items that I want to donate like cooking items, a portable heater, 2 steam irons, an electric kettle, a lamp, and other items like pillows and blankets . I would like to inquire if you accept such donations and can you come and collect them from my accommodation as I don’t have a car.

    • Hello Hodan,

We are not able to accept articles as donations but we have passed your message on the Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre and Coventry Asylum and Refugee Action Group (CARAG) who will no doubt reply to you directly if they are able to take your goods. Please let us know if they do. Many thanks.

  3. It’s obvious that most people of colour in are going to leave a comment about how RACIST was in the past and how it still is in many areas like education, jobs opportunities, housing I can go on but what’s the point all people do is talk and say what great strides have been made maybe to Anglo Saxon eyes I haven’t seen it, police brutality in the USA shouldn’t spark people that have been suffering racism for decades in England to say enough is enough when the protest stop it will be ignored and swept under the carpet as always

  4. Good morning I work for BBC Antiques Roadshow – obviously in a different time we would have been filming the programme in Coventry but to ensure the safety of our crew and visitors we’ve had to move to Kenilworth Castle. However, we would still love to find items which show the cultural and historical diversity of Coventry and I wondered if you may be able to pul a call out on your website and through your contacts?
We are asking people to contact us ASAP at https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/4M87TXlfyxdKf6x2fqhNCLz/kenilworth-castle and let us know about there items or stories. Unfortunately this year only people who have contacted us beforehand will be invited to attend the show.
Do let me know if you would like a press release, flyer or photograph.
Look forward to hearing from you.
    Pamela

  5. Hello,

I have been a victim of a crime and I wondered how I go about arranging a meeting with the offender so that I can get an understanding of his reasons and get an apology. I would also like to suggest that the offenders Community Service is carried out in the immediate area that will benefit others affected by his crimes

  6. Hello we would love Pru Poretta as lady Godiva to come to our event and judge a competition at Lammas House Coventry . We are a residential home and our residents would so love to see Pru as with the pandemic to cheer them up. If Pru could give some date that would be great.

  7. I would like to donate clothes, shoes etc for refugees, i tried the telephone given but it says its the wrong number, could you please let me know, which day and time of collection so that I can come then, thank you,

  8. Your site looks great but I did notice that the word “Thare” appears to be spelled incorrectly. I saw a couple small issues like this. I thought you would like to know!

In case you wanted to fix it, in the past we’ve used services from a websites like HelloSpell.com to keep our site error-free.
