Coventry Lord Mayor’s Committee for Peace and Reconciliation had a table at the Community Information Fair in June. This fair is part of the Positive Images Festival.

We found it a great way to meet interesting people, including other stall-holders. We asked people what they want us to do to promote peace and reconciliation in the city. Their answers included:

• Write an article in the Coventry Observer which is delivered free to most homes
• Talk to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire especially Trish Adudu and Vic Minett
• Talk to church leaders including those in the Eritrean community
• Talk to U3A
• Use social media
