This event will be held in Coventry Cathedral on Friday from 9.00 – 13:00 on 26th November 2021
The programme is as follows:
9.00 – 9.20 Registration and collect packs
9.20 – 9.35 Introduction and welcome to Conference
9.35 – 10.15 Keynote speaker survivor from Hiroshima, Ms Keiko, on behalf of the Hiroshima Peace Museum, Japan (Virtual session).
10.15 – 10.35 Break
10.35 – 11.25 Session 1: World Café style presentations from half of schools schools who have achieved the Coventry Peace Award and the ICONS Award . Remainder of schools to visit the stalls.
11.25 – 12.10 Session 2: As above except schools swap over..
12.10 – 12.20 Adam Hedge (Shadow CV) – showcase prayer for peace song Adam will share ideas and inspiration of how music and peace can be carried out in schools.
12.20 – 12.30 Close and Evaluations
12.30 – 1.00 Lunch (Schools to bring own packed lunch. Drinks will be provided)
The conference is run by Coventry Lord Mayor’s Committee for Peace and Reconciliation and the International Cross of Nails Schools team.
