In Your School
Coventry schools can choose from two outreach sessions, delivered in your classroom: Toytime (KS1) and Blitz Discovery (KS2). Both sessions are designed and delivered by our experienced Learning Officers and include hands-on museum resources. Each session costs £85 per class. The following sessions are available:
Plan Your Visit
To get the best out of your day we recommend that you take part in a Learning Officer led session. We can adapt your visit to ensure your learning outcomes are achieved, and with a variety of sessions to choose from you will be spoilt for choice.
For a limited time only we have travel bursaries of up to £200 available*. Children need to take part in two learning sessions, either at the Herbert or Coventry Transport Museum. For more details please contact Nicky McIntosh on 0247 6237523.
All our sessions support the Arts Award framework at all levels. We also deliver a highly successful Discover in a Day programme. For £7 per pupil, we will plan and deliver a day of arts activity, assess their work and submit successful pupils for their Discover Arts Award Certificates.
*Available for schools with pupils from areas of high deprivation. Subject to availability and only available when visiting before the end of March 2018. Funded by the Department for Education through Arts Council England as part of the Museums and Schools Programme.
