Volunteers Needed for Coventry Peace Trail Plaques Project
Coventry Peace Trail is a walking tour that visits around 30 sites associated with peace in Coventry city centre. It begins with the ruins of St. Michael’s cathedral, blitzed in 1940, and concludes in Millennium Place. Printed copies of the booklet are available here, or you can download a free PDF here.
A sub-group from Coventry Lord Mayor’s Committee for Peace and Reconciliation have begun a project to erect plaques near these locations so visitors can reach the corresponding page on the Peace Trail website, where they will find information about the site.
Volunteers needed
Erecting plaques is not a straight-forward business, and we need volunteers to help us to research the process, complete the necessary steps and finally create and erect the plaques.
