1:30 pm: Music from Tony Edwards organist and Taiko Drumming by Coventry students.
2:00 pm to 3:00 pm: Coventry Hiroshima Remembrance which will include folding of paper cranes and reading of Sadako’s story by students from Cardinal Newman Catholic School.
3:00 to 3:30pm: cold drinks on the lawn near the Chapel of Unity.
3:30 to 4:30pm Japanese food in the old cathedral for Coventry Lord Mayor’s Peace Committee and invited guests.
The event will also be live-streamed at https://www.facebook.com/cathlivestream/videos
Please ask one of the organisers to locate you in a suitable place if you would prefer not to be seen in the live stream.
Note we will need to leave the Cathedral promptly when the service ends at 3.00pm because the BBC will be broadcasting a service of choral evensong. Once you have left, it will not be possible to re-enter the Cathedral for any reason.
