On 26 May, following recent council elections in Northern Ireland, Coventry University Centre for Trust Peace and Social Relations will host a discussion in Coventry Cathedral entitled

Peace and reconciliation in Northern Ireland: It is what it is. How could it be different?

Speakers will include:

• Mark Durkan – former SDLP leader
• Mickey Brady MP – Sinn Fein MP
• Cllr Brian Kingston – DUP
• Paula Bradshaw – Alliance Party MLA
• Timothy Curry – Advisory Board Member, US Ireland Partnership for Growth

The event is part of the 2023 International Gathering of the Community of the Cross of Nails Network and will be followed by the presentation of the 2023 Coventry International Peace Prize.

It will be chaired by Dr Marisa McGlinchey from the Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations
