On 27 March the Bilston Gazebo Theatre in Education Company will bring the stories of five extraordinary women who have made history to the Earlsdon Albany Theatre.
This powerful new play shares the stories of Irena Sendler, who rescued more than 2,500 children from the Warsaw ghetto; Olive Morris, British Black Panther and activist for women and squatters’ rights; Phoolan Devi, the fearsome Bandit Queen, and Dr James Barry, a woman way ahead of her time.
Directed by Tonia Daley-Campbell and featuring an all female cast including, Olivier Award nominee Alexia McIntosh (West End, SIX), Dawn Butler (Doctors, BBC), April Nerissa-Hudson (Man Like Mobeen, Netflix), Rukmini Sircar, Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Award recipient, (India) and Gazebo Theatre CEO and Artistic Director, Pamela Cole-Hudson.
