Warwick Rotary Club will be holding their International Evening on Wednesday 29th January, 6.30-7.00p.m at the Hilton Hotel , Warwick on the theme Paths to Peace.
Peace and Conflict Prevention and Resolution is one of Rotary’s main areas of Focus.
Main Speaker PDG Ken Robertshaw.
Ken’s family were involved in a terrorist attack whilst on holiday and recently Ken has been the RI Co-Ordinator for Peace Scholars at Bradford University. He will open your eyes to what these scholars achieve. Ken is an excellent speaker who will entertain and inform.
Gian Clare from the Leamington/Warwick Branch of the United Nations Association will read out the International Message of Peace.
Rotarian Jasbir Mann Headmistress of Falcon ‘s, Sikh School in Leicester will totally engage you in her school’s formation of a Peace Garden and planting of a Peace Pole which has been acknowledged worldwide.
The Mayor of Warwick will present a Peace Trophy to a Warwick Student.
