Everyone from across the city is welcome to join Our Place at the Table from 12pm-4pm on Saturday 21 September in Foleshill Community Centre.
This will be an open conversation celebrating the ‘International Day of Peace’ with a chance for you to talk about equality, peace and human rights in our city. Tickets are FREE and lunch will be provided by local caterers.
Following up to the success of the previous event we are now hosting an open conversation exploring equalities and human rights in Coventry, in the form of a long table event. This FREE ticketed event provides the opportunity for residents across the city to come together and discuss what human rights mean to you in 2019.
Equalities, peace and Human Rights sit at the heart of this global city of cultures, and this event is an opportunity to celebrate the ‘International Day of Peace’ and respond to what they mean to the people of Coventry.
Our Place at the Table will be a feast of food and creativity bringing together artists, activists, academics and the wider community for an open and honest conversation.
Food and networking will open the event as participants are invited to come together sharing stories, thoughts and feelings over lunch before a brief introduction and the main long table event.
We welcome you to bring your thoughts, experiences and vision to what promises to be an inspiring event taking place in the heart of the community.
A delicious buffet will be provided.
Please note: On-site priority parking for disabled access only. Nearby parking is available and buses run regularly, more information is available on the link.
