Coventry’s International Young People’s Peace Essay Competition
Once again United Nations Association Coventry Branch is organising Coventry’s International Young People’s Peace Essay Competition. This gives young people aged 15 to 24 the chance to tell the world what they think needs to be done to promote peace and reduce conflict.
It enables them to express their ideas about peace, harness their creativity, learn through doing research, improve their writing skills and make their presence known as a peace-oriented citizen and possible future leader.
Also it gives them an additional entry to their CVs because all authors receive a certificate of participation and stand a chance to win a monetary prize.
See here for the rules and further information on how to enter the competition.
Judges come from Coventry University, the University of Warwick and others around the world. New judges are welcome to apply. Please write to organiser@youngpeoplespeaceessay.org.
