These twinned cities will celebrate 60 Years of friendship on Saturday, 1 June, in Coventry Cathedral with a concert of choral and orchestral music celebrating peace, reconciliation and friendship by Spires Chorus & Orchestra and the Dresden Neuer Chor.

Music by Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Copland, Elgar, Fauré, Handel, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Parry, Rachmaninov, Schubert and Spofforth conducted by Axel Langmann & Jack Lovell with leader Alistair Kennedy.

Organised in collaboration with Coventry Dresden Arts Exchange. The Coventry Dresden Art Exchange exhibition Condition Humaine, in the Cathedral’s Lady Chapel, will run concurrently Friday 31st May to June 30th. The exhibition was first shown at the Kreuzkirche in Dresden in February this year to launch the 60th Anniversary of the twinning of Coventry and Dresden.
