Writers in Shropshire and the West Midlands invite you to an evening of poetry and conversation on Black Lives Matter. The event takes place online on Friday, 14 May 2021 and will run from 7.30pm till 8.30pm.

The evening showcases 10 poems from Black Lives Matter: Poems for a New World (CivicLeicester, 2020), an anthology that presents 107 poems from around world, on the theme, Black Lives Matter.
Reading at the event are: Panya Banjoko, Steve Pottinger, Lind Grant-Oyeye, Suzan Spence, Maureen Mguni, Bethany Rivers, Jean Hall, Ravelle-Sadé Fairman, Eddie Saint-Jean, and Paul Francis.
There will also be opportunities to ask contributing writers and participants about their work.
