International Day of Sport for Development and Peace

The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) has a Division for Inclusive Social Development (DISD) which houses the substantive mandate on sport for development and peace at the United Nations. This includes promoting the annual International Day of Sport for Development and Peace on 6 April.
