I am an artist with TheVERYidea collective who, have worked extensively with children and families in Coventry, Warwickshire and the Midlands. We are hoping to apply for the City of Culture’s Under 5s Project Grants aimed to support live, creative projects engaging audiences aged under 5 years old and their families. We are exploring ideas for outdoor (and possibly indoor) creative play interventions and need to find a suitable safe venue for very young children and their parents to use, that is close to facilities (toilets and baby-changing) and is accessible. Possible project dates have yet to be set, although mid-week (Monday-Friday) in September is what we have initially been considering.
Our deadline for applying is very tight and hope that someone from your organisation might be able to get in touch very soon. We need to budget for all venue costs in the application.
