A Peace Picnic was held on 10 June 2022 in Coventry Peace Orchard and students from Cardinal Newman planned the event making the best of the beautiful orchard.

The Peace Picnic was set up by Normandy Day UK founder Dennis Davison to mark D DAY and the end of WW11. Dennis created the Peace Orchard for future generations to enjoy and so it is a privilege to have young people leading the event this year.

The Picnic is organised by the Normandy Day UK charity and Cardinal Newman Catholic Secondary School.
