Ten Coventry Schools Granted Peace Award
Ten Coventry schools are now celebrating that their efforts to promote peace have been rewarded by being granted Coventry Peace Award. The success of several of they have featured in the media.
Schools have to submit evidence of the work they have done to the Coventry Peace Award website managed by members of Coventry Lord Mayor’s Committee for Peace and Reconciliation. If their work justifies the award then they will receive a certificate signed and presented by the Lord Mayor, a trophy and window stickers to tell visitors of their achievement.
The achievements of some of these schools have been featured in local media.
The following schools have been granted the award so far: Blue Coat, Cardinal Newman, Earlsdon, Good Shepherd, Holy Family, Howes, Seva, St Peter and Paul, Stivichall and Templars.
