International Young People’s Peace Essay Competition 2021
Young People’s International Peace Essay Competition will run for the first time in 2021.
It follows the very successful pilot run by UNA Coventry Branch working with the Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations at Coventry University in 2020.
This year we hope to attract even more entries around the world, and offer larger cash prizes as well as certificates.
Entries are open until 31 October and must be written in English by people aged 25 or under.
The full rules can be found here.
The judges will be looking for Passion, Originality, Clarity, Knowledge and Understanding.
The essay must be related to peace. The organisers are suggesting some topics, which can be found here. Since 2021 will include COP26, this is one obvious theme that might be explored.
