Coventry Diversity Forum is a network of diverse nationalities living in Coventry. Our vision is to build ongoing, and permanent relationships with individual, community groups and organisations for the purpose of applying a collective vision for the benefit of the communities.

What we do
We work alongside local communities to celebrate the diversity of Coventry as well as its historical heritage and Culture. We bring communities together through arts, song, rhythm, folklore, food and dance to promote peace and unity among the community of Coventry
We host monthly panel discussions, to identify common concerns. And to use the information to influence policy through advocacy and campaign
We provide a platform where people of different cultural background and ethnicity living in Coventry can learn from one another, to build a level of understanding, and to facilitate collaboration and cooperation
We facilitate cultural events to help develop cultural awareness of the ethnic diversity in Coventry
We promote partnership working with both statutory and third sectors to build stronger and more resilient local communities.
We educate, inform and nurture individual growth, through sharing information, and resources on rights, support and help that exists
We provide a platform for communities to come together to discuss issues affecting their communities, take collective action and generate solutions to tackles those issues (domestic violence, youth crime, terrorism, etc
We reach out and support people who are socially isolated, underrepresented and from depriving background
We promote integration, and inclusion among communities in Coventry
We provide training and workshop on issues affecting the communities, sharing good practice, sign-posting to relevant agencies
We support and challenge the individual to become the best they can be and to realise their full potential
We encourage individuals to take a leadership role in their community and to be the leading change within the community and in own life
