This concert in All Saints Church Leamington Spa on 29 September will feature the London Syrian Ensemble. It is made up of newly-arrived and long-term UK residents who either studied or taught at Damascus’s prestigious Conservatoire. Together they offer a joyous performance of classical and traditional music from the region; one that’s full of energy, beauty and humanity, and one that offers a positive and optimistic opportunity to celebrate Syrian culture.

The event is organised by the voluntary group Welcome Here Leamington & Warwick in support of local refugees. Syrian refreshments are served in the interval. Partially funded by Warwick District Council and other sponsorship.
