Refugee Week is the UK’s largest annual festival celebrating the resilience and vibrancy of refugees in our community and runs from the 17th until the 23rd of June 2019.

The spirit of shared stories and experiences is embodied by the theme of this year’s Refugee Week, ‘You, Me and Those Before’.

Jan Malatesta, Service Development Officer at Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre said at the national planning conference held on 15 February and organised by Positive Youth Foundation (PYF), iMix and Coventry City of Culture Trust at Coventry Cathedral:

“Coventry has always been a place of refuge and we want the week to be outward looking and encompass the vitality of the whole community”.
